I was visiting the site and saw the wall plaque that will be dedicated Memorial Day 2009. I am so happy to see the association approve the funds for the project. Now I feel the Sierra will be remembered long after we are all gone. I was so very proud to have served onboard for over 4 years in the 1980's. It was indeed a special ship.
