PROCLAMATION

Let this day, May 22, 1991, in Red Rock, Texas, be hereafter
known as the day of joining of the two halves of a dollar bill
torn apart 44 years ago symbolizing the reunion of hearts of
all these present. This is a celebration of friendship, borne 44
years ago between 5 young lads who were thrown together by
the whim of the U.S. Navy. The bonding between them took
place on the U.S.S. Sierra AD-18 and has endured all these years.
By the grace of God, may the friendship of these 5 friends grow
even more secure in the coming years.
